Minoru Yamasaki's daughter Carol spoke of her father's dedication to the architectural principles of commodity, firmness and delight at the reopening of the Pool on May 1st, 2013. The McGregor Memorial Conference Center was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 2011 as an important nationally and internationally recognized building.
